The opening scene in the preview was presented in 2D, unlike the 3D scenes set in the Grid.

He's digitally redressed by the high-heeled sirens and provided his identification disc. They either ramble incessantly about games and stand stoically in the confines of the Recognizer awaiting their fate.

I'm relatively assured in declaring that lifelong fetishes will likely be borne of this scene.

Tron Legacy is scheduled to hit theaters on December 17. The "Disc Wars" scene is good, so I won't spoil it any further. I will not go into this too much, but it really is an incredible, emotionally charged scene when the father and son Flynns reunite. He is easily captured by a fleet of bipedal Recognizer ships, suspected of currently being a stray program by the police force of the Tron world.

If you have observed the Tron Legacy trailer, you realize that Bradley provides Sam information about his lacking father and the keys to Flynn's Arcade. Sam, naturally, survives his fight and shouts amusingly, hopelessly, to his captors "I won! Now let me out!" He is nevertheless not wrapping his head about this digital prison camp.

Sam's transported to a bright white chamber. But look at by yourself warned.

Apparently a person does let Sam out, simply because he's rescued by Quorra (Olivia Wilde's character) and the two escape by way of the all-terrain Lightrunner motor vehicle. Sam appears to be residing really comfortably on the fortunes of his father, but he's also residing dangerously-He drives a motorcycle! He drinks beer! He just acquired out of jail!

Many of the scenes are introduced with symmetrical shots, highlighting the rigid computerized world of Tron Legacy.

But this scene and the approach to the arena showcase some of the attractive style of the Grid. The digital camera pulls a couple of 3D methods right here, showing Sam restrained from beneath the glass floor of the Recognizer cage, light and translucent supplies popping into their individual 3D planes.

What follows is an initially clumsy identity disc battle among game contestants. Sam investigates, ultimately discovering his father's workshop, then discovering himself trapped in the video game world of the Grid.

The Recognizer scene amazed me with its quick violence. The preview ends having a short montage.
